Cashier

Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner

Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.

Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.

Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized dining area.

Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.

Prepare and process bills and handle payment transactions.

Balance the cash register at the end of the shift.

Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.

Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Effectively communicate with guests in both Arabic and English.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Waiter-Cashier in a restaurant setting.

Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Proficiency in using POS systems.

Excellent cash handling skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work well in a team.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
