As a Hair Stylist at [Beauty Depot], you will be responsible for offering a wide range of hair services, such as haircuts, coloring, blow-drying, and styling. You will help clients look and feel their best by staying up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable haircuts, hairstyles, and hair colors.
• Perform a range of hair services, including cuts, coloring, balayage, blowouts, and hair treatments.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and use the information to expand services and attract clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all salon protocols and state regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, encouraging repeat appointments and referrals.
• Manage bookings and appointments with punctuality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other salon staff to ensure clients receive the best possible service and leave satisfied with their experience.
• Educate clients on aftercare and home hair maintenance to promote healthy hair practice

Qualifications:

• Valid state cosmetology or barber license.
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist, or similar role in a professional salon environment.
• Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers.
• A good understanding of hair treatments and chemicals (e.g., keratin smoothing treatments).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong creative skills and attention to detail.
